Project: Save A Life
Responsibilities: Ideation and prototyping
Date: July 2021
Save-a-Life is an app that helps foster safer and contactless communication between law enforcement and public citizens.
Our client asked that the app be designed to be easy to use since interactions between law enforcement and public citizens could be high-stress situations.
As a result, user flows emphasize functionality and transparent communication.
The architecture allows citizens and law enforcement to see who is nearby and choose to initiate conversations with them.
The navigation is focused on tasks that need to be completed by both parties using a system-based chat interface. Each person’s information appears in real-time as messages are sent back and forth.
Save-A-Life's color theme uses dark blue as a primary color. The UI is monochromatic using variations of the primary color. This color theme allows content to be easily read without distraction and user avatars to be easily seen.
